On November 21, exactly one week after Struthers’ birth, I finally felt like a mom and got to hold my baby in my arms. Despite all the tubes and wires, it was the sweetest moment and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. As you can see from the video (filmed by my mom :)) at the below link, the process of getting Struthers into my arms was a complicated one, but one the AMAZING clinical staff at University of Colorado was up to.
